Sherborne Developmental Movement

Supporting people to feel at home
Sherborne Developmental Movement is a practical and joyful way of working to support people in their sense of self and other. Participants are able to get a good felt sense of themselves, their boundaries, their strengths and how to test that out with a partner and group in ways that builds inner and inter personal skills. It encourages a positive sense of 'me' and promotes the learning and development of 'we'.
It can be especially useful for people with diffrerent abilities and Rebekah has also adapted it for working with parent and child (read below).
It has been described as "wholly positive" and works to help people feel at home in their own bodies and to develop recipricol relationships regardless of age or ability.

Healthy bonds build healthy lives
HealthystARTS uses creative physical activity to enable parents and children to connect as partners and to have connected, responsive and joyful experiences.

These experiences release much needed ingredients in the parent and the child to build a more fulfilling resilient relationship and a happier, more resilient child.

The parent is supported to support the child and together can develop much needed trust, sensitivity and
security with benefits that can last a lifetime for the child as a person and the parent:child relationship.

HealthystARTS is rooted in Sherborne Developmental Movement practice and Parent & Child Therapy training.
