
About Rebekah
Rebekah has experience of creative processes for making sense and mending,
relief and recovery, discovery and growth, for identity, connection and quality of life and relationships.
​
Rebekah has worked in Community Arts and Arts and Health all her adult life, qualifying as a Dramatherapist and registering as an Arts Therapist in 2001. Rebekah has delivered Dramatherapy to Notts Healthcare NHS Trust - Learning Disabilities Directorate, Adult Mental Health Services and Nottingham City Aspergers Team, to a number of Primary Schools - Nottingham City and Nottingham County, and in Private Practice at The Bay Therapy Centre in West Bridgford, Nottingham.
Rebekah has also delivered therapy for Catharsis Creative Arts at Pupil Referral Units (Derby)
and for Adoption Support, Nottingham City Council.
Rebekah has run training and away days for Clinical Psychologists and Nottingham School of Nursing
and workshops for Arts Therapists to re-source.
Over time as her practice showed the importance of the parent:child relationship Rebekah went on to train and use Sherborne Developmental Movement (2018) and gained a Certificate in Parent:Child Therapy from the Institute of Arts in Therapy and Education in 2021.

Her interest in the care connection and the significance of physical felt experience extends to her unique approach called Breathing Spaces, combining her professional knowledge with her faith to help people develop a peaceful practice.

Rebekah is Registered with The Health and Care Professions Council and a member of The British Association of Dramatherapists. She is also a published author in Dramatherapy the Journal of the British Association of Dramatherapists for her work in the NHS with Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

Rebekah is a member of the British Associaiton of Dramatherapists Sub Committee Spirit Matters.
